“Welcome home” has a special meaning for Lauren. As the daughter of an interior designer, she grew up in Naples, FL, and was exposed to the interior design industry, which fostered a deep appreciation for the necessity of curated, personalized spaces. However, she did not have the desire to follow in anyone’s footsteps.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2012 with a BS in Communication Disorders, Lauren dabbled in some design work while preparing for grad school. While working in a managerial capacity in home merchandising at an Anthopologie, she realized that she had a true talent for design and a love of styling. This then led to graduating the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale with an associates degree in interior design in 2016 as well as an interval as showroom coordinator for a large industry leader.
However, Lauren felt creatively unfilled and longed for more. When she accepted a full-time position at LDL Interiors in 2018, she came to understand that what she was missing was joy and creativity that arose from learning and working with her family in the field she loved. This feeling of welcome reception informs her passion for design and the sense of satisfaction she derives from creating unique and lasting solutions for clients that align to their needs and represent their style.
