Royal Harbor

The challenge of this spec home was to optimize the aesthetic appeal of the home within the boundaries of previously chosen finishes, flooring and cabinetry. Taking a cue from the natural light flooding a majority of the house through floor to ceiling glass, pale and neutral tones were used to blend with the natural elements. Texture and geometric patterns in the fabrics and wall covering as well as and ocean inspired accessories offer playful elegance throughout.

Furniture was chosen not only for comfort and function, but style — from the Eames chairs in the study to the custom made billiards table in the media room. All window treatments — silk Sunbrella drapes and planation shutters — were tailored to fit the spaces and control the light. Three art pieces from a well-known local artist add color and warmth in the kitchen and entry way.
